Aequitas Trailer is a locally owned and operated trailer rental and service company based in Langley, BC. We specialize in the rental of utility, enclosed, flat deck, and dump trailers—and take pride in keeping our fleet safe, road-ready, and professionally maintained.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Part-Time Welder to join our team and assist with ongoing trailer repairs, structural welding, and metalwork. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with trailer frames, hitches, ramps, and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and metal fabrication for trailer frames, gates, ramps, and axles
• Diagnose and repair structural damage on trailers
• Grind, cut, and weld using MIG/Stick (and occasionally TIG) processes
• Ensure repairs meet safety and durability standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Occasionally assist with general maintenance or support tasks

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of welding experience (preferably in trailer or vehicle repair)
• Experience with MIG and Stick welding; TIG a bonus
• Ability to interpret repair requirements and work independently
• Reliable transportation to our Langley location
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum)
• Safety-first mindset and attention to detail

Schedule & Availability:

• Part-time: 2–3 days per week (flexible scheduling)
• Daytime hours preferred; some on-call availability may be requested
